Dr. Martin Söderblom is now a postdoctoral fellow of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin, whose research mainly focuses on East Asian Studies, especially Manchu and the study of language in China. He is familiar with 11 languages including Chinese, Manchu, French, Japanese, Latin Russian and so forth.
