He have been teaching English at ZJU for Chinese students and working with the China Studies program both at Zijingang campus and Haining International campus.
His research interests are mainly focused on Rural Ethnography, Gender Studies, Consumerism and Contemporary Chinese Society and Sociological Approach to Contemporary China Studies.
